Boy Scouts Troop 772 honored five new Eagle Scouts at a special Court of Honor at The Woodlands United Methodist Church on September 28. The Troop is chartered by The Woodlands United Methodist Church and part of the Tall Timbers District of the Sam Houston Area Council.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. Only four percent of all Boy Scouts attain the rank.
“It’s really unusual to have so many members of one troop achieve Eagle at the same time,” says Bill Muldoon of The Woodlands. “It’s a very exciting time for Troop 772, and an inspiration to the younger Scouts.”
Volunteers who guided the young men on their journey from Cub Scouts to Eagles include Scoutmasters, as well as many other area residents.
Each of the five new Eagle Scouts earned at least 21 merit badges, held Troop leadership positions and successfully planned and led a community service project. click here to view entire photo gallery
