A local senior, Cristian Mazariegos, has become a beacon of leadership and inspiration through his involvement in the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) program. Christian received his congressional nomination in December of 2023 from Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, and was accepted to the United States Naval Academy.
