NCR Honors Class of 2025 at Chevalier Ceremony

Senior honorees recognized for their commitment to community service

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The National Charity Roundtable (NCR) of The Woodlands honored its Class of 2025 seniors at the annual Chevalier Ceremony held at The Woodlands Country Club on Sunday, February 9, 2025.


The event began with seniors posing for commemorative photos with their families. NCR President Jennifer Barrows welcomed attendees, followed by an inspirational address from Class of 2025 honoree Evan Richard. A senior video montage played during lunch, which was served by The Woodlands Country Club staff.

Guest speaker Michelle Keyes, founder of The Keyes Ingredients, spoke about her organization’s mission to empower cancer patients and promote cancer prevention through nutrition education.


Each Class of 2025 honoree was introduced and presented with a certificate and a gift by NCR President Jennifer Barrows and President-Elect Courtney West. The ceremony concluded with remarks from NCR Chevalier Chairs Meredith Sipko and Tara Wheeler.


Evan Richard, a senior at The Woodlands High School and a defensive lineman on the football team, was recognized as the Outstanding Senior of the Class of 2025. He plans to attend Texas A&M University to study chemical engineering.

NCR, which serves Montgomery County, encourages young men in 7th through 12th grade to volunteer alongside their parents.


The organization is accepting applications from parents with sons currently in 6th grade. Prospective members are invited to an informational meeting on Sunday, February 23, at Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Applications will be accepted from March 18-31, 2025.
