Shenandoah, Texas — In a celebration of tradition and school pride, The Woodlands High School crowned its 2024 Homecoming King and Queen, Jose Emiliano Gonzalez-Alvarez and Anna Stoner, during halftime of the varsity football game against New Caney on Friday evening at Woodforest Bank Stadium.
Principal Dr. Ted Landry, along with members of the student council, presented Jose and Anna with their crowns and sashes, marking the conclusion of the Homecoming Court ceremony. The crowd’s cheers echoed through the stadium as the newly crowned King and Queen stood proudly, their smiles reflecting the excitement and unity of the student body.
Earlier in the ceremony, the school acknowledged all Homecoming Court members before the grand announcement of the King and Queen. The crowning ceremony served as the perfect finale to the halftime celebration.
With the Homecoming King and Queen crowned, the student body eagerly anticipates the final event of the week — the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night. The dance will bring students together to celebrate the conclusion of an exciting Homecoming Week.
