Woodlands Girls Lacrosse Team Honors Seniors in Pregame Ceremony

Seniors Celebrated Before Victory Over Katy

The Woodlands Girls Lacrosse Team paid tribute to their senior players on Senior Night before their game against Katy Lacrosse at Gosling Sports Fields. The ceremony, held on Tuesday, recognized the contributions of the graduating class of 2024.

The team celebrated seniors Sophia Kilkeary from Tomball High School who has committed to Indiana University, Marin Nordenstam from Tomball High School who has committed to the University of Arkansas, Hali Sheble from Grand Oaks High School who will join Texas Tech, and Wendy Stein from The Woodlands High School who is set to attend Southwestern University.

Each senior was honored by being introduced and walking under the "Arch of Sticks," a tradition in lacrosse ceremonies. They also took photos with their coaches and parents to commemorate the occasion. The event, hosted by the booster club, included the presentation of flowers to each senior and a custom cake to celebrate their achievements.

The Woodlands went on to defeat Katy 13-8 in the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League - South District match, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.
